Membership
Membership is easy! As a nonprofit organization, membership in the Houston Archeological Society is open to all persons who are interested in the diverse cultural history of Houston and surrounding areas, as well as the unique cultural heritage of the Upper Texas Gulf Coast Region. To become a member, you must agree with the mission and ethics set forth by the Society, pay annual dues and sign a Code of Ethics agreement and Release and Waiver of Liability Form.

Please note: By submitting your payment to HAS you are agreeing to the Society's Ethics Pledge. A copy can be found here. An applicant for membership of HAS must have no previous adverse dealings with HAS, other societies, or institutions.

Mail in Membership: Print off membership form from the link below. Check, money orders or cashiers checks only. Mail to address on form.
Pay in Person: Membership forms are provided at monthly meetings. Payment for membership in cash is only accepted at meetings when accompanied by completed membership form.

Monetary Donations and Contributions
Privacy Policy
The Houston Archeological Society takes your privacy seriously and treats all financial information about any transaction you have with the HAS as highly confidential. In addition, HAS does not share e-mail addresses or phone numbers of any of our donors or constituents. Occasionally, we are asked by other non-profits to share names and addresses for a one time use. You can opt out of sharing any of your personal information by notifying us via email at treasurer@txhas.org.
Non-Monetary Donations and Contributions
The Houston Archeological Society acknowledges the extent to which its resources have been and continue to be enriched through the generosity of donors. The HAS continues to welcome those donations in kind which enhance its ability to meet its objectives. The HAS will only accept materials which it considers to fall within its acceptability guidelines.
