Artifact Identification

One of the outreach activities the HAS does is to offer our expertise in identifying archeological artifacts. On numerous occasions, people have brought artifacts that they have collected, to our monthly meetings that our members have helped identify.

HAS member, Wilson "Dub" Crook (above right) is talking to Cecil Jones who earlier this year, brought in a large collection of lithics from Central Texas to have the artifacts identified and dated at least to a time period.
