Awty International School Visits
Linda Gorski, Louis Aulbach, and Bob Sewell regularly present a program to the second grade classes at The Awty International School here in Houston. They start off with a 30 minute presentation and then have a 30 minute hands on show and tell for the kids using real artifacts from both prehistoric and historic sites. These students have usually just finished studying a unit on archeology and the teachers obviously do an amazing job getting their students excited about archeology! The kids have some brilliant questions during the presentations and are impressively knowledgeable about the hands on artifacts that are brought for the show and tell. A few days after the presentations HAS often receive in the mail "Thank You" letters from students who took part in the program. They are priceless!!! We have scanned them and have posted them below.
